About me
Hello, I’m JP. Welcome to my website, I provide manual driving lessons in Largs, Ayrshire.

I am licensed by the DVSA to give driving instruction and trained under the supervision of the Learner Driver Centre (LDC). This means I follow a pupil-focused approach designed to build confidence and independence on the road.

I decided to train to become a driving instructor because I wanted to combine my love of driving with the opportunity to help people. Lessons are always conducted in a friendly and relaxed manner to ensure my learners feel at ease, and my coaching philosophy underpins my whole approach to driving tuition.

I feel genuinely lucky to work with LDC because they take into account the fact that everyone is different, and their learning system (LD System) allows for flexibility by putting the learner at the centre of the learning. This means that we progress at a pace that’s safe and right for you. I aim to make every lesson enjoyable and as productive as possible. Learning to drive with me means this is your learning journey and, as with any journey you make, you can plan and decide how we get there. Not many instructors follow a pupil-focused approach designed to build confidence and independence on the road. This is truly what makes the LD system and learning to drive with LDC different.

When I’m not out on a driving lesson, I love music, films, photography, and cooking. I live in Largs with my wife Adrienne.
